The T610 is too expensive at the moment...
I think one of my friends want the T610 on pay as you go vodafone but he can't find the T610 in his vodafone local store...
Has the T610 been offically been released in the UK?

Your mate can get it online through Voda, but then he cant test the Hissing, upto him. I think its at a good price, especially when its the best phone out, apart from the P800

If so, am I right in thinking that I have 14 days in which to cancel my contract and go to CW instead for an unbranded model?

Will have to keep an eye on this, just ordered a T610 as an upgrade with Voda... was expecting it to be expensive, but they only want £30! For that, its worth a try, so if the firmware can be updated to de-voda it, that should be great.
It used to be my counter to Orange people in the office, that their phones software is always messed around with, the phones locked, and covered in logo's... looks like I cant use that excuse any more!

£30?? I just went into a local Voda shop and they're asking £80 from me for it... Maybe they just don't like my face.
Also, has anyone actually tried to get rid of the Voda logo (on the phone) themselves, ie scratching, etc. it off? Wonder if this would work.
Oh, one more thing...
Anyone want to buy my t68i/mca20? Didn't think so...

hope that more folks will complain because IMHO vodafone overdid the branding big time. funniest thing was that vodafone tried to tell me that i got i special "vodafone live phone". all i said was that i did want a t610 and not a phone which calls home by pressing virtually every second button.

I was suprised at £30, but I did hear of someone else being quoted £50 so it seems pretty random. I believe they calculate it based on your average bills, and over the past few months mine have been 70-100 or so, with one month of 200, so I guess I qualified for more of a discount!
