Is it possible to sit with it on your lap... I mean, if i were to use it in a train or a bus, would it get clumsy?

Yeah, that might be tough. the main difficulty would be that the keyboard would probably fold in between your legs if you tried to use it on your lap

But it wouldn't be much trouble on an airplane tray table or something like that. Except there isn't a really secure way of holding the phone down.

Mainly, I've used my keyboard when I'm bored at someone's house or at the doctors or at the DMV. I'll sit down and respond to several emails with nice long responses instead of the brief one-offs you would produce with the laborious HWR.

By the way, everyone is talking about how the drivers are up at Pocketop and at My-Symbian. I don't see it at either place...

I heard a rumour that the beta driver for the Pocketop keyboard was developed originally by Symbian and Pocketop and Symbian have not yet finalsied the commercials for release to the public. This may explain why the driver was removed.

@BA

I assume you know that you may be liable to VAT and import duty for anything above about $25 from the USA. It may cheaper and safer to order from the uk from either www.expansys.com or www.clove.co.uk or www.widget.co.uk (most expensive of the three). Expansys do not have them in stock but estimate 2 days for re-stocking.

@Jah

What you heard seems to be correct.

In addition to that, I believe the drivers have now been removed from the PocketTop website and that there some new and better drivers on the way.

For full info read this thread:
