@yuppo
you mean, you browsed html-pages from webviewer using GPRS? Or just Mobile Internet settings?
From what I've read here, you can't use GPRS from java... hm... then who's right?
By the way, what are these sockets then? What's wrong in not having them?

@Cosinus
Yes i can (i can't say that it works good though), and as i said before, you can use GPRS from java.
You can use http, (which i guess webviewer uses), what you cannot use is socks, typically used in applications such as irc/icq/msn/telnet etc.

24 Related to non transflective screen - no notifications are obvious without turning the phone on - eg missed calls, incoming messages etc. The big digit phone screensaver could be altered to include alerts, but this is almost unreadable anyway, except (ironically) in strong sunlight.

Hello,
In regards to the side "volume buttons" they do have a "other" use. you can press and hold one of them to voice dial.
I personally have no problem with the increasing ringtones. I like it
One thing I don't think has been mentioned yet is the fact that you can not choose what happens when you press the side "internet button". I know the first shortcut allows you to hold the joystik to the left to get there. but what if I want to have a shortcut for bluetooth and the web. I already can just hold the joystick up. why do we need both the side button and the joystick up???
Also i don't see the purpose of having the more sounds/more pictures/etc menus they are pointless. There doesn't even need to be an option. those menus just need to go bye bye.
The way the phone handles memory with the pics needs to change as well.
I believe some of the things mentioned in the first post may have limitations on the hardware....but also on the OS the T610/6 uses.

25 no way to cancel a 'snoozing' alarm, nor is there any indication that one is in progress (or in fact that the alarm provides that functionality). Also the snooze stops after 1 hour ? (Yes, I'm that lazy in the morning)
26 From the 'Call List', there is no way to get info about a call other than to wait for the menu item to cycle through phone numnber, date and time, etc. There should be a 'more' item called 'call details' or something.

Well... A lot said and still a lot to say...
You say that with all that changes T610 would be a *great* phone, but don't forget that it actually IS a great phone. I'm a programmer and i've learned something: the customer is never satisfied. Even if T610 went out with all that extra (maybe not actually 'extra') stuff, i'm sure that another wishlist as big as this one would exist. But i agree that if sw updates can be done, they MUST be done. A product like this is never bug-free.

Anyway, i think SE did 3 (at least) big hardware mistakes:
1- the screen. Enough said about it's readability outdoors.
2- the processor's speed. Ok, guys... You are releasing a last generation phone, with a lot of features and using last technologies... Why replacing a fast processor with a gaming engine? Mophun games are quite 'fast' and look great, but have you tried to make a java application for this phone? It's fu**ing slow! Have a look to jbenchmark website!
