I have not had any trouble with p800 and camera. Cant remember the address but some pervert put up a web link to a page full of pictures taken of girls with camera phnes whats the point?

Well, Do you know what is porn - a small resolution image where you can't see any detail. What is erotic - absolutely the same only at least 3 Megapix resolution. OK, just kidding.
Really, todays latest digicams are much smaller than phones, and have far better resolution anyway.

My company has issued a policy that all camera phones must be registered and a permit issued to all users on the understanding that they are not used to take company sensitive pictures and distribute them.

I think that you would be very surprised!!! When you open the p800 the camera is sticking out so far it is not funny, little eg! Take the battery cover off and see the height of the batter compared to the height of the camera! I think you could shave off 5mm easy just along that! Plus the phone would ot be so tall either!

A phone cam is handy, I bought my p800 because in the case of a car accident I could have photographic evidence for the insurance company.

But yes, the world has gone mad. People freak out about a camera that could only produce an indentifiable photo if you're only a couple of metres away yet you can have a smaller, much higher res camera that ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A CAMERA and no-one would complain.
Unfortunately it'll get worse before it gets better. The media will of course play their part and blow incidents out of proportion...

Actually Zen Master... U R Wrong... Cause The Screen covers most of the P800 so the speaker is over it on the top part... and so is the polyphonic one so if U were to remove the camera the Poly and Talking speaker would remain up ythere with the same size however More hollow space... However SE have put the camera and Polyphonic speaker and Speaker in one place so that no space would be wasted...

Several bookstores in japan have banned cameras and camera phones becuase of this.
OMG! How cheap can we get??
