Sh*t! The more I think about it, the less I like Vodafon through Carphone warehouse - excellent service with no niggles, but I'm paying through the roof!

Orange C/servs have been great imho. Like the last bill i got i got charged for 25meg of gprs internet, not cheap... But i explained i had been on wap but was using the wrong preferred profile. So i got it credited bk, nice of them to put my mistake right. This message was posted from a P800

Do you expect them to make losses and give subscribers phones for lesser price? This message was posted from a T68i

@arfster
when did you start this contract? i am just wondering if its still possible to start on a high tariff and get the phone for free and drop after 3 months.
if anyone is replying to this post please state when you started the contract and network provider as i am still interested and i assume others are keen to see if its still possible to do this.

@Jin Kazama316
sorry for not getting back to this topic. IT shut our internet access off in work until today due to the MSblast virus so i am trying to catch up on a lot of stuff. if you want to drop your tariff you will have to ring them the day before your new month starts (i started my contract on 6th of month so i had to call them on the 5th). if you phone too early in the month they will tell you to ring back the day before the start of your monthly contract.

@sean3483
what tariff did you change to and when did you start your contract. i still think phones4u are still doing the first three months half price.

I bought a P800 on O2, not Vodafone, through Phones4u/Singlepoint and I also got the promise that I could change to a cheaper tariff after three months. I made him put it in writing. He did. I did. They gave me no trouble.
