Thanks anish yes it is nice to see so moany people helping out. Hopefuly the new car will be here in a couple of days, the order was placed this afternoon and as they have one in stock, it is just a case of sorting out a cover note for insurance and getting the PDI'd which is basicaly checking it is all bolted together, and then it is mine.

Yes I should have by Tuesday I hope. The car is in the dealership they just have to make it ready for me, put the extras on and valet it and so on.

Sorry to hear your story, but things like this happen in Sweden too... our crime rate is pretty low to average (compared to other countries but it's still way too high). "Low crime" doesn't mean "no crime"
Anyway, to the point ---
I think you should contact the network op to get details on WHERE in the GSM network the calls were placed. It may lead to SOMETHING; WHAT this "something" is I do not know, but when you have lost such a valuable piece of equipment you can never collect enough information on what the theives have done or where they have been.
Far as I know, the op's can at most times pinpoint a phone within a 100x100meter square.
Good luck in finding your car, and hope you'll overcome and possibly solve this terrible thievery over time.

But more important is the fact that we have details of the people that were called by the original caller and as the police do not seem to interested in the information I have given them, I will have to sort it out myself.
