Ok with all this chatter about Z600, and having seen one the other night and been reasonably impressed, and having sold my spare T610 last week... I have just ordered a Z600 from carphone warehouse. Its the unbranded one which I could have got for 269.99 sim free but I am getting for 49.99 using my vodafone upgrade.

pretty happy about that. No idea how long I will keep it as I don't really like flip phones but having had a little play I'll keep it as my spare until the T630 comes along I guess.

well I had to get myself something for my birthday

are you still waiting vlam?

I was very lucky as I just called my local cpw and it was the last unbranded one they had so I gave my details and they are holding it until Friday. Apparantly the next batch to be sold on vodafone will be the branded ones so I was really lucky.

Been trying to get a P900 but everyone wants so much and I know I will be wanted to get rid of it from a few days after I get it whereas I'm more likely to keep the Z600 longer as I need a spare phone (for my german sim) and its small enough to shove out the way when I only need my T610.

Anyway, I hope you get yours soon too if you haven't received it already.

hope you enjoy it mass, because certainly have, its a great all round phone, very well built and feels great in the hand, keypad is amazing, also do you know what covers voda are selling the z600 with?

also if you've had a p800 in the past i wouldn't recomend a p900 my mate bought one the other day and i had a play about on it and its just to similar to the p800 in my view but you know what they say different strokes for different folks

not sure what covers come with it but prob same as yours as its the unbranded one from CPW which I recall is where you got your from.

The branded vodafone ones I saw here in Frankfurt earlier this week were vodafone red back and front. yeauch!

Yeah I did have a P800 for three months but still wanted to play with the P900 for a while but never mind.

I have to, in some ways, agree with malinda that there isn't much around to get exceited about from . Really, my next excitement will be the T630 since I prefer that form factor over the flip but even that isn't the huge advance over the T610 that we night hope for.

The Nokia 6600 certainly captured my attention but when I sat down and thought about it, it means new accessories, a 3rd sync program on my pc (with SE and ipaq) etc etc and I just don't fancy all that.

So, I know you are on the lookout for more covers, I will look here too next week as I'm having a birthday party tonight and flying back tomorrow, so let me know if you come up with any, even 3rd party which will prob be flooding the market soon!
