Amen to the first post. The T610 is a terrible phone.
And to the guy with the comment about SE sucking the life out of Nokia- what planet have you been living on for the past......years?
Nokia HAS always, and WILL always be more popular, better quality, and overall head and fu**king shoulders above SE.

Yes, Nokia is better than SE, but I dont mind SE.
I do think that the T610 is a slow phone. I dont like it for that reason- hence I replied to this thread, because the first poster came to also realise also that the T610 is crap.
End of story.

Memory- they are all almost the same: nokia 5mb, se 2mb+2mb, siemens 2mb, sagem 2mb
so i don't really see what's the fuss all about?
Screen- nokia 128*128 4k, se 128*160 65k, siemens 128*160 65k, sagem 128*160 65k
so the worse screen is surely nokias and btw I don't have any troubles in seeing t610s screen in sunlight, and yes the screen of my p800 is a litlle better in sunlight and only a LITLLE better
Quality- I still think that se has the best quality phones, I've never had any problems with the quality of se products, which isn't true for nokia and sagem (i didn't have siemens mobiles for a long time so i don't really know abot them) for an example I've had nokia 7650 and p800 for the smae amount of time now and my nokia screen is almost invisible now because of the dust that came in, no problems whatsoever with my p800, some buttons don't work anymore with nokia, for instance the on/off button, the sliding keypad got stuck once and the result- I had the 7650 in repair while my p800 still works great.
so I think people that don't like the t610 don't like se because i think it's a rare gem of great design, quality and functions in these days
oh and one more thing I don't see the problem in cameras because in my opinion htey are all crap, so I don't care if it's vga or cif it's all the same crap and I don't imagine why would anyone look at these pics on his pc....
Plus I don't remember any site or magazine that didn't say that t610 isn't a great phone....

I agree Fritz, what is with all this text message speak going on in here? I can hardly understand half of what is being said!
I have to agree that the screen on the t610 could be better, it is absolutely impossible to see what is on the screen in sunlight. So unless you intend alternating your year between the north and south pole, dpending one the time of year, you have to get used to this.
The camera is okay, especially with the flash, although that £40 hurt! As a few people have said, it's meant for a fun toy. If you want a good camera, buy a good camera!
The 2mb memory may be small on a pc, but this is a phone. At the moment I have 4 themes on my phone, 10 ringtomes (plus the original se ones), 10 pictures, 112 contacts, 20 texts, 26 java games, and3 morphun games on it, and I still have 235kbs left. That's not at all bad.
There are a few annoyances with this handset, but there are on every phone. if they made the perfect handset, they would stop making phones, and we would all have the same one. Until then, this one is good.

I think it isn't right to compar candybar phones to clamshell phones. clamshell phones can have a better screen and kaypad because of the form factor so I don't think it's right to compare t610 to gd87
btw: gd87 or 7250i don't even have bluetooth
