Why is this argument still going on? This is a SE board, obviously the majority of people on here prefer SE products to Nokia, or any other manufacturer for that matter. Why do people insist on posting facts to 'correct' our mistakes regarding Nokias or to educate us on the wonders of Nokia? If I wanted to know what a Nokia could do I would go and get one. Far too much space and time has been used up debating useless points such as these and that's saying a lot coming from a guy who likes to post utter crap and have a good flame session!

Haha this is so stupid! How did this turn into a nokia vs SE flaming competition. Funny thing is, that if you actually read about the themeing software I posted about, you would reaalise that it is made by T-Mobile! Not nokia. Just because thier phones can run this software, doesnt mean that they made it! It's like saying, "Oh my god compaq PC's are running windows XP! What a copy!!!" All I was pointing out is that T-Mobile made it possible to theme nokia (and possibly others?) phones, and that it was a little resemblant to SE. I did not say that "nokia are so crap because they are copying SE" So why did this flame war start? Oh well beats me......

@Draak: http://www.symbian.com/about/ownership.html and guess who has the most share

After reading something I found this
Quote:The world's first open Symbian OS phone became available in the first half of 2001:the Nokia 9210 Communicator.

and then this

Quote:The company (Ericsson) announced another first when it was the first Symbian OS licensee to launch a Symbian OS phone, the Ericsson R380 Smartphone , in November 2000

Or have I past something ?

@Jim
hmm, it says that the nokia 9210 was the first OPEN Symbian OS phone... while the r380 was just the first... what's with the "open"?
