In the midst of all that... you can use magicgate sticks... mine is it/has it and works perfectly... it makes no difference... I think someone pointed that out somehwere... in a blunt kinda way

basicaly, for a device 2 use magic gate, it needs the compatable software/hardware 2 use magic gate. p800 and p900 do not recognise the magic gate system so work as a normal duo. i have a white 128mb magic gate duo in 1 p800 and a dark blue 128mb magic gate duo in my other p800 and my p900. they work great. i am writing this just 2 clarify things. if u do not aggree with people on esato, do it nicely without insults or stupid replys. everybody is trying 2 learn things and the only way 2 do that is by asking! i am fd up of the minority ruining esato for the majority! we have all been new at sometime and have questions we want 2 ask, but some of us are put off by the people who will call us stupid! we are not stupid,we just havent learned the things u have! so please b nice 2 us or some people will see esato as a place 2 b abused and not come back! i admit i have loads of questions 2, but am affraid 2 ask! have a nice day!

Never be afraid to ask as there are always plenty of helpful & friendly people on here but its amazing how much you can learn just keeping up & reading some of the threads (especially when search is working).
Personally I don't give a toss what negative/sarcastic comments come back & some are very witty demanding an adequate response

As i mentioned above (i think), Amazon do the 128mb, newer type, darker blue magic gate and supposedly faster duo for just under £45, with their free delivery... i think thats probably about the cheapest you will find...
So, no, the magicgate feature does not add to the price, not in this case anyway
