I still need help with my synching problem. I have already deleted my contacts in the PBTM (it's now in the deleted items folder) but the phone won't re-sync its contacts to the PBTM.
help anyone? please.
it seems that it can't "read" the phone entries. It says that i've used 510 entries and 0 free on my phone.
Is there anything i can tweak on the ecsmca.XML file? (any links to the specs of this xml file?)

@rllipat21
you just get a blank message? are you using special characters (chinese)? the CD i got has a note that the software is intended for latin input characters.
maybe it would help if you get the newer(?) version from the

website? The version I use is v2.0161

oh, so you're using the plug-in.
the pbtm is the stand-alone software.

All along I've been using the SW in a CD(R1A) that come with the phone (T39MC) it all work perfectly well between the laptop and my phone synchornize via InfraRed.
But after I've install the new sw(MA) from the SE website PBTM can't detact my phone anymore (but the phone icon beside the window clock can been seen) I think it just the program that can't detect the phone not window. (I'm using window xp and it seem that SE software dose not have the upgrade for window XP yet).
Where can I get the MA or PBTM that support chinese character cos I use to sent chinese SMS.
Hope to hear from U guys.
Thank

@kayla
I am not familiar with the PBTM that supports chinese characters, and the way I undertand it, MA has a proprietary software that comes with it.

For some reason or another, the phone just re-synched the phone entries back to the PBTM.
weird!
anyway, at least i don't have to worry about it anymore.

@GOwin
Good to hear that your phone had re-synched. In as much as i wanted to help, i could not offer any suggestions as am not an expert in the topic.
Just to advise as well, the PBTM worked with my wife's T68.
Havent though moved the phone entries though as i was backing up my laptop to my desktop as home. WIll do that tonight.

I hope someone can help me with this problem with this software as I've been racking my brains out on it and no one's been able to help so far.
I'm using version 2.0.161 of the Phone Book and Text Message software, running on XP, and using a T68i. After a lot of troubleshooting, I've managed to get the IR synchronisation working reasonably, although one out of three times the software still won't sync properly and I have to reboot.
However, after the phone and s/w syns, NONE of the phone book or text message entries get displayed. I know that the synchronisation was done correctly, as the XML data file displays all the phone entries; but for some reason it's not being displayed in the software itself. This means I can't use - at the moment - the SMSing or phone book management.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Rob
