Your the ones who don't get it, the simple fact is sony stands for quality. Now don't start moaning that ericsson were, I aren't saying they weren't but sony ARE known worldwide for making quality equpiment and stylish equipment. Wheter you are a sony fan or not is besides the point, the simple reason is even if the T610 is completly made by ericsson I would NEVER of brought it unless sony was on the badge as well as ericsson. I also know of others like I have mentioned in my previous posts who would never of brought a ericsson either. I am NOT disputing that ericsson still make alot of the phone what I am saying is that alot of people would never of have brought an ericsson simply because of the name, where I live they got a sort of reputation for being bricks outdated and ugly. The reputation which is now starting to change now that it is Sony Ericsson and they have some more stylish desgins. You can argue as much as you want about it is the features of a phone which is more important and I agree, but at the end of the day style does matter and this is what I believe sony have. Hence the reason I brought my t610, if it hadn't of been sony, I doubt I would have and would have probably gone with another make.

Personally i still love SE phones basically from my experience with Ericsson phones. Sony didn't meant a thing to me.
For me the only VISIBLE good thing that sony brought was the jog-dial.

Now, do you understand? Ericsson is the one developing the platform on which your beloved T610 is created. Sony Ericsson buys the damn platform and then customize it. That's all.

The first phone I had was a SONY CMD-X2000. It was a great phone at that time with clever things like jog-dial or that you coudn't rub off the keypad. That's still impossible. Thats why I hate Nokia. Worst quality.

Ericsson were, slightly unordinary. But yet their technnology was the best. So, judge, would you mind not talking crap about ericsson under the skin? Its sony ericsson. They work on things as a team. Sony could buy ericsson about 50 times, but you see, they need ericsson. and ericsson need sony. So lets all stop talking about discontinued brands, or ones that havent been seen in the shops for ages, and start talking about the best BEST

@judge your having a go at me? DO YOU ACTUALY READ WHAT I WRITE. I said in my last post that ericsson still probably DO build most of the phone. What i did say which you seemed to have ignored that I would NEVER have brought a ericsson. I only brought the T610 because it had sony in the name. Read my last post again and you will realise that I said that and I wasn't even disagreeing with you over who made them. I was simply saying that I and the friend who has a z600 would never buy a ericcson. But they will buy a sony.

Actually, I wash my hands of this thread. Simply its something petty to argue about, the main facts are SE sales are up, they are making some great phones. So who cares. I hope SE beat nokia and I just hope they don't make a hundred and one phones the same as the T610 (eg z600, t630 etc) like nokia have done with their phones. I just hope SE can keep up their inovation and new ideas and long live SE.
I aren't going to argue over who is best anymore because I agree with the creator of this thread, they are doing brill as a couple and I hope they keep the good work up
