I managed to fix mine by removing the bottom 2 screws, prying the phone gently appart (plastic tools!) by leveling on each side of the connector gently, moving the sides up/down to settle them in, and screwing the thing together again. perfect now.

hahaha... I didn't even realize my p900 squeaked until I read this post... gonna try it now.................

still squeaks did the tapping, and tried pushing it in. Those of you with the screwdriver, at which side did you insert it in to pop it out?

Wait a second... someone mentioned soudn was coming from the right side (memory card/internet button)... my squeak is on the left. Which side are you guys talking about???

There is no danger to open it yourself, i have done it a hundred times and if you just feel that you are not forcing anything then nothing will happen!!!

Ive just noticed a lovely squeak on the left hand panel and battery compartment on my P800 now.
