While doing this method I get an error message something like The Syncstation is being used by another application, close the application then continue. But I don't know what else could be using the Syncstation other than the SE message suite software. Any ideas?

My P900 was SIM free but it had a CDA 162004/14 region for Hong Kong I think and unable to update.

But now I have a CDA number of 162003/2 and can complete the full up date. Way cool! Thanks to all involved.

I just used the one in the zip file and copied it into the correct directory. You could also make a regular text file with note pad and just name it run.cmd. Just make sure you follow the instructions and make sure the path in the run.cmd file is correct for your system.

Also, I just saw in the yahoo forum they setup, some code has been changed and this sweet little trick no longer works. Man am I glad I check this forum every day.

Had the trick really stopped? Or is it just the upgrade site.

I only found out about the trick last night, and in the time I've known, and still now, I haven't been able to get on the upgrade website.

Can anyone get to the update site? Or is it just me?

Cheers
Marc

It has now been stopped. SE have caught on to the fact that everybody was upgrading their branded phones and made changes to the site (some encryption routine) which stops the unbrander working.
