I just sent a sms to my switched off t68i,deleted the sms in sent items on my t610,then switched on t68i,received the sms but although i got status report enabled i hav'nt received any report whatsoever. Hope my point is clearer now :-) So if u wanted what Saka wants then u cant use status report. I'll let u know if i get anything later but u could test it urselves if ur in doubt. Im not against the idea ur after but it seems that status reports would'nt work. This message was posted from a T610

What drives me wild is that when the memory is full it is not the oldest sent sms which is deleted but mostly the last but one. And of course (Murphy) that deleted sms is always the one you need the status report of.

Also I have the impression that the phone first fills up phone mem and then starts saving on the sim.

In general this kind of stuff is handled very well on SE phones, except for this issue. The people I know that have an SE phone often have their sms-icon blinking and can't receive massages any more and leave it like that way too long. It is just something a lot of users are not aware of. You should be able to let messages be deleted automatically, e.g. when the "keep on trying" period is over - as an option.

Gotta admit i was fully unaware my phone even saved the sent texts until my memory was full.

It's deffo not a normal and standard feature on phones... just

Since then I've been manually deleting texts constantly
