Oh please dont speak of 98 in terms of stability! Every pc geek agrees Xp/2k are the best wimdows ever! And is adding memory a big problem? There are no 9x ìn our campus at all!
And se surely could make 98 support, but that's not about trust...

I run a p2 230mhz with WIN98 SE. It's the most unstable piece of shit I have ever used. Win 95 ran better for me.
XP on my P4 dell machine has crashed/blue screen once, yes once. It is very stable.

heh, being a computer geek and worked in the biz as a pc tech (wouldn't recomend doing it either), 98 was bad about being unstable and me was worse. win2k is awesome on the stability dept and i could run just about any app on it and most games too. winxp is nice and much more stable then win9x but has known issues with sp1a as far as speed is concerned (launching apps, switching between apps) compaired to win2k (still faster then win9x though). also i've used literally EVERY version of windows released (only beta tested win2k) from win 3.0 upto winxp except server 2k (waiting to try out server 2k3).
