this is a little off-topic:

a few days ago i read on teletext (that's the text-info you can call up on your TV, at least in europe) of a virus that attacks smartphones.

oh no, i thought, and kept reading.

well, guess what ... no mention of what smartphone exactly this virus was attacking.
unless that programmer is a god and can write a virus that runs on windows-phone edition, symbian uiq, symbian s69, symbian 80, palm, ... you get the picture.

i also tried to update my os but the damn thing could not complete. some error occured at the final installation. then my video recording stopped and when the repair center of SE could not figure out what went wrong they just uploaded the old software. it runs fine now.

They promised it would be here last week, then they promised yesterday. Have just phoned them and they have just promised Thursday.

They wont let me got to the store to pick one up they reckon they are out of stock, bull I phoned the store direct and they have 2!!!

So if it aint here by thursday a call to OTELO will be placed.

a 7 week turnaround time is discusting. Any normal company would be out of buissness by now!

there is surely no way they can justify taking that long. its about time they pulled their finger out and gave you that new one for all these troubles

Yet again CPW amaze me. I thought I would give them a quick bell to check that my phone had been dispatched for delivery tomorrow. Quote "oh yes sir it will be in store by Friday" hmmmm now I have been phoneing them regulary for the past 3 weeks (at least once a day) and every time I have spoken to them they have told me that it would be delivered to my place of work. I have had confirmed this with them 3 times, so why the FU*K is it being deliverd to the store? Qoute "we have no record of that arrangement sir"

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

OMG - Dont die of shock, but have just been told that my P900 is back in store and ready for collection. 8 WEEKS to the day that I originally took it in for a 1 hour update!!!!

So am gonna go in at about 2 ish, and give the replacement one hell of a operational check before I agree to recive it. Apparently even my 128mb ( he he ) is back as well.

Will let ya all know how I get on later.

@Stan

Did they give you back the correct battery? They gave me a 1000 mAh battery back.

I got my phone back yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

All seems fine with it.

The first thing I did was check the battery after the trouble that has been had before.
