I was in the same position a couple of weeks ago so I'll try to give a slightly more informative repsonse than send a txt msg.

1. Properly condition your battery by running it out fully and giving it a good charge say about 3 times.

2. Read the manual fully. Try and get the proper SE manual as opposed to the network branded manual

3. Personalise it. Get some new themes or/and Theme creator and get some mp3 sounds that you want to use.

4. Get some apps/games. This is a big one as there are so many good things you can try. There are thread with the top 10 etc. Sman which has been mentioned is a file/task manager and more and almost a prerequisite. It can also close down apps when you close the flip which will save battery life. I also like Smart Movie and and watch Simpson/24/Sopranos while on the train.

5. Get a 128 Duo card. Amazon do them for £42 inc. If you find them cheaper let me know.

6. Go to my-symbian.com and the UIQ section and look in downloads. Loads of good/free stuff on there. Also the forums there are much better to search for information on than on Esato.

7. I should also add try not to fill up your main memory with stuff. Use the 32 meg stuff unless it's a vital system app
