Maybe Sony is nervous about the effect that advances in technology like this will have on it's own camera market - e.g. don't make the phones too good or people won't want cameras...

Ok we all have Px00 and its not enough, but u have to think ure not going to put that many progs cause its not a smartphone, just audio video and pics, so thats sufficeint each pic should be 400 k lets say u take 100 pics thats 40, vids should be small so ud have 10 and theyl total at 40, and u have 48 megs left for audio!

Not really a problem, since dedicated digital cameras are constantly rising in mega-pixel resolutions too.. You can get 12mp camera's now for home users, and the press and media can get them up to 16mp i think.

Its a Japanese phone, but theres a chance we'll see a 1.3mp flip phone from SE like that one, maybe next year.
