when i upgraded to the p900 3 weeks ago i had to wait 3 weeks for the p900 aswell - normally if you go through to orange disconections and tell them you want to terminate your contract when it is up unless they can better vodafones deal(which i did as advised), i told them vodafone will give me the p900 for free and on the same tariff - sure enuff orange matched the deal and bent over backwards to keep the business!!! i was suprised as i got my p900 for free with a load of accesories.....they also told me phone was out of stock for 2 months on my first call to them to the normal enquiry line. but, when i went through to disconections - wa la ----- 2 weeks ----- p900-----very happy!!!!

My service provider said that i could only downgrade the service after 6 months, this was because everyone had got wind of the one month scam and they did not want to give away the phones for virtually nothing.

Got the phone free anyway with Orange after Vodafone said the upgrade was going to be £240 at which point i promptly left the shop and logged onto the internet, grabbed a phone for free and it took all of two weeks to deliver, Tarriff is a bit steep at £70 a month but hey i can afford it.

The p900 rocks !!!

Keep trying to downgrade your contract, they can only say no.

I bought mine from the CPW, I was told I had to wait three months before downgrading, but I just rang Orange and got my contract changed within a week. I believe that the CPW now has some clause in its Terms & Conditions to prevent this now, so it is best to check.
