Well, it gets pretty bad when mine has "SOS Calls Only" and his has seven bars.
But nah, I still love the phone. It's brilliant - All the cool features, very fast, and themes are brilliant; if only Orange would pull their socks up now and do as they said.
(Oh: Quick q, when I post on my Z600, how do I get it to show that I'm posting from it? I've posted from it a few times and nothing.)

Yeah, I think it's a common behavior for the SE phones. The SE phones that I've used so far (T68i and P800) had the same signal behavior. But, like what the others have posted, the features will definitely outway the signal strength since it rarely prevents you from sending those text messages and making those calls

Yes, I'm massively impressed at the features of the phone - Especially for the price of it. There were other phones, which were a lot more, yet had fewer features.
Although unfortunately I've been having so many problems with my provider, I'm barely able to make a phone call, let alone send a text message or even dream about connecting to WAP!
Brilliant phone, it really is, shame I've had so many problems with my provider though and I only bought it yesterday.

So true. It's a shame that some wireless providers are not able to give their subscribers the opportunity to utilize the full potential of their phones. Anyway, glad you like your new phone!
Cheers!
