whether he was weak or not he said what he felt to his best capability otherwise i dont think he would have said it.
If he gave a flawless argument it wouldn't be much of a debate since no-one would be able to answer back.
I'm not being a smart-*ss, I just think in these situations, if people want to discuss an issue it's alright if they talk about the topic itself and not personal issues or "grammatically Incorrect" sentences oh and any post leading to a flame be deleted. (could mean this one as well I guess)
SE rules. like they said SE COULD have made an upgrade, but they didn't. P910 isn't for P900 users, hence the 10. like a v.1.1
but i've got a question, isn't SE going to give us a software upgrade?
I mean will be able to get that ? Or do we just get minor fixes (with no release notes)

I think I'm going to purchase the MPX and all other P900 competitors. I can then argue with myself as to which phone is better and not wait to hear it from someone that makes comparisons about things they haven't used.

Oh and is this a moan? Well when someone complains it tends to turn out that way. And I didnt realize complaining and letting people know where I stand is wrong.
Did you forget the title of your thread?? It's alright I'll remind ya'..
"SE going down ( (Nokie 7700 and MPx)"
From that title it appears that you had a point in mind not a complaint. I personally think you provided very weak examples, but nonetheless I think you've reverted to complaining because you couldn't make a firm case. Biggest problem started by you making comparisons to an item that you don't even own. That is what we call 'baseless argument'. It's alright to complain, nothing wrong with that. However, to create a thread that rambles on about case with no firm argument and deteriorates to baseless babble is the problem.
I agree with u, yes MPX 300 is more powerful than P910 but MPX 300 hasnt come out yet and god knows when. When they say it will come out this year, it doesnt means it will come out this year because smartphones are very complex machines, take time to develop, all the smartphones came out now, came out very later than it was meant to be. I think I know why SE didnt introduced more advanced phones because want to increase the live of P900s series, epsecially adding email function, just lilke blackberry, which sold thousands. I think SE planning to build a smartphone big difference than P900s, which will take time. Now little upgrade so they can get new customers. I think SE made big mistake, not including MP camera, wi-fi etc, people want new technology now. They the 1 who should have provided because they are more experienced than any companies when it comes to smartphones. I think when P800 came out, it was only big selling smartphone if not was only smartphone out in market that time. So I think SE should be forefront in technologies than behind. If MPX 300 is released this year, we should expect to see new SE smartphone from sooner e.g P1000.

MPX 300... oh dear.
Powered by Stinker - or whatever MS call it now.
Anything with MS inside is a disaster... and usable. I've never yet come across a usable piece of MS software... Bloated farce.. Word - bloated and slow.. IE, bugged, and lacking in features, Windows XP - slow, unusable.
Above all - MS software == Virus portal, insecure.
I'll keep to Symbian.. thanks very much.

I do have reserves about Win OS on any medium. Although I like their interface I don't think it is reliable either. I rarely use my PPC as I'm often faced with crashes and sorts. I got it because it has the built-in BT and Wi-Fi, but it's still Windows based. I do prefer Symbian on a mobile medium simply for its stability. I think that's a big reason why there are so many Pxxx owners and very few 3G phone owners right now.

Lets forget about the competition for now though. Yes it was possible to get DUO pro support on a p800 with a firmware upgrade (you got the storage but not the transfer rate). Whether you believe me or not thats your own affair, I saw it work so I know the truth and thats good enough for me. If you include DUO Pro support as a "hardware" upgrade then lets make a list of the hardcore changes besides software.
DUO Pro
Better Screen
QWERTY Keyboard
More Memory
The better screen, even as eldar said, is barely noticeable. So we can really take that off the list.
DUO Pro
QWERTY Keyboard
More Memory
The QWERTY Keyboard is just a new flip, as the flip is electronic SE could have just released a flip with a software package for 1/10 the cost of a new phone.
That leaves DUO Pro support and more memory.
Now it seems to me that these things account for the same thing. Memory. IMO you are NEVER going to use a 1 Gig card to its full potential. Even if you fill it up with music the battery wont last 512 MB of music so you will never need to put more than that on it. Besides that if you use "multiple cards" anyway because you really need all that space than just put all your apps onto each of the cards (that will barely take 64 MB anyway).
So more internal memory doesnt even help with anything. Besides that in this day and age when you can get 1 GIG the size of a DUO Pro or 128 the size of a DUO or even 64 that size adding more memory isnt exactly the pinnacle of innovation. Besides that to take that much time for just that is just absurd!
So we are left with only DUO Pro support.
So your pretty much getting a phone thats a P900 with an upgraded software and duo pro support (if, as i said, you call that a "hardware" upgrade, which I KNOW it isnt).
Now Im not making such a great arguement, but you have to realise its not easy for me to lobby against a company Ive been with for so many years. Im a hardcore SE fan and I still am! Then S700 and K700 look great and they are definetly REAL upgrades im going to look into. The fact is SE stopped working on their smartphones to work on these models. I hope im wrong and they surprise me with something but I doubt it.
I admit being wrong about the 7700 being the better phone than the P910 but it IS better than the P900 (which I did get confused about).
The MPx has one flaw. It's OS. Besides that the phone is perfect, but hey, Im just rambling, Im mad we didnt get a real release and I admit aI have no idea what Im saying. Im just so disappointed, I mean once was bad enough, but twice? SE, get your act together

Intel should inform all their customers a year in advance when they intend to release new chips so that customers can wait and not buy Pentiums that are out on the market now.
And for those that have bought PCs, Intel should offer a full-upgrade path at minimal expense of the end user.
Intel releases new chip models every 3months... with only a minor difference in speed from the previous model... what kind of BS is this??? Intel is going down! They should offer firmware updates so that Pentium 3 users can turn them into Pentium 4 HT chips. I mean it's all fw related anyway right?
PS- sarcasm intended (for those of you who didn't get it)
