Yes, but the animated themes are no new thing. You can see this feature since the R1C firmware. But there are no Sony Ericsson Z1010 themes available, which are animated.

As far as I know, the R1H fw should be available in german. Try again, it should work.
However there are no public fw releases made, or for the moment planned, for the Z1010. In the long run, you will probably be able to download the fw and flash the phone yourself - but it will probably take another couple of months or even half a year as things are going today.
