Awesum reply dude... i understand wat u saying, i dont have a problem with SE releasing new phone , hell yeah they need to break into nokia market, and they have done a good job, i mean im an example my self, been a nokia user for 10 or more years.. damn P900 got me... wat an amazing fone.. i had a communicator, and was waiting for a newer version.. but cudn't resist p900.. y wasn't i a SE user before man u got to believe, im not a die hard nokia fan ... but man go 5-6 years back.. SE, Motorolla or any other brand sucked.. basically sucked.. nokia had awesum phones with IR, sliding fones i mean and stylish too. I dont know y ppl hate that comapny.. the reason u gave applies to nokia as well doesnt it.. i luv nokias and now SE too, the only problem i have with my K700 is battery life man.. i dont care wat ppl rite on reviews.. i think SE cheats on its customers.. i mean there is no way on EARTH that this fones gives the talk time or stand by time which SE says.. hell no, if u use it "like a HUMAN" normal text use, talk time and some application use.. this fone CANNOT give anything closer to the talk and standby time stated by the company.. i never had this problem on nokias in 10 years or either on p900...
Anyways.. now im thinking to get either P910... or a samsung d500, i already have a p900.. so im leaning a bit more towards D500 is that a rite choice???

SE has done so well because of Sony's knowledge of Camera know how (Cybershot etc) and Ericsson's technological wizardry, and the fact that SE has always concentrated on making middle to high-end handsets.
It now intends to capitalise on this and I quote - "From that position it can now start to expand again into low-end phones or other standards.''
Which can only mean SE intends to move into the Nokia-cornered market of producing more basic low end handsets with wider appeal. Whether this is a good thing or bad I am not 100% sure but why would SE's low end phones not have the same quality as SE's high end phones? It may be possible for SE to make a 'Nokia', but is it possible for Nokia to make a SE ?
And at the rate technology is progressing it would seem that todays mid-end phone may be tomorrows low-end phone anyway.
