Here are some facts that we should probably consider.
1. Human beings are insatiable
2. Technology like everything else is always changing
3. Perfect is a relative term
4. Phone is a communication device
Now let common sense and logic explain why SE doesn't make a perfect phone.

Guys, you misunderstood my question. I am well aware of the fact that nothing could ever be perfect. But, why does SE leave some huge loopholes in their phones for Nokia fans to capitalize? Thats my question. I get really pissed off when my dumb Nokia crazy friend comes over and brags about the new 256mb card he has and the things that are stored in it.

Well, I don't really care how much mem your friend has on his crappy Nokia... since it can't do half the things my OLD P800 could do.
Just a sample of things I could do on my OLD P800:
-unit conversion (ANY KIND)
-currency conversion... updated daily
-read my local paper with Mobipocket reader... synced 11pm the night before
-take photos/videos... and make minor corrections or add scribbles to them before sending off in an email or MMS
-send and receive email from all my accounts
-over 50% of all my contacts has a photo attached... with a voice dial command
-full address and details of each contact is present (small notes as well, when I met them, who I met them through)
-control Winamp via Bluetooth (full listing of all music directories was displayed on my P800)
-control my PC via GPRS... I could email larger files via remote if I had to)
-track stars & planets (was useful when I wasn't sure what I was looking at was Mars)
-keep an entire Dictionary and Encyclopaedia at hand (Oxford & Probert)
-had to deliver a package once, had the recipient sign my phone instead cuz I didn't have a received note.
If storage is an issue... get the P910. I don't really care how many videos or wallapers a phone can store... I care about what it can do. A Nokia with 256MB can do only that... store wallpapers and videos... WOW!!!... Ooooooo.... buy an Archos...you'll have 40GB of photos, music and videos...with on-the-fly recording and video out... no bigger than an old Walk-Man. An Archos would probably have better battery life than a Nokia anyway.

I would like to point to masseur's comments in the second post of this thread, that really is an accurate summary of this issue. Customers are inbdividuals, although they can be categorised to some extent, but they will all still have different needs and requirements from their mobile phone. Designing a 'perfect' mobile will never be perfect, even if it had every feature you could possibly think of because there will be someone somewhere who just wants a simple device without lots of usless, in their opinion, features.
The end result is that we have to choose a mobile that most closely fits our needs and because mobiles aren't perfect, it give sus something to look forward to, and to discuss, when a new model is announced.
