ok. jojo i am sorry. i believe you now. does it stay there or does it blink??? for how long?

@gorbachov - No need to say SORRY mate . . . as nobody is PERFECT and does not commit any MISTAKES . . . but I am NOT ! I am not 100% CERTAIN till now, if EVER . . . I don't think that the GREEN led 'blinks' it just stays there permanently - charge batt - FULL! The RED led only "blink's" when the batt is already . . . drained ar about to ... mate!

As I said earlier, I believe the red led seems to be totally pointless.

Has anyone actually seen this flashing and thought 'oh my god I need to charge my phone!'?

@lembo - Sometimes -YES! As it will just add to the battery icon's status on the fone's screen, mostly if only ONE BAR is remaining . . . aside from the WARNING that flashes on the SCREEN that says - Battery Low ! 3 WARNINGs I surmise will really make you just . .. charge a dying battery!

It's strange, I tried it on my phone several times this weekend but couldn't see the red/green LED under the power button light up at all.

@blackspot - the red LED flashes only when battery is low.sometimes it doesnt even flash in mine. i have r2l .

There is NO green LED in the K700. absolutely non, nada , nil . The green LED everybody's talking bout is the LCD display light which is visible through the power button when viewed in dim light.

btw if you really want to see the Red LED , goto the service menu and select service tests-> LED/ Illumination tests .

@kllr_dude - Yup, that's just the way to SEE the Red Led thru a TEST mate ! Hmmm . . . maybe the GREEN led flash will be visible DEPENDING on the kind of FIRMWARE you have on your fone As I STILL have the stock - R2A . . . one when I WAS able to see it !

Ok....here's a weird one!

Just watching TV yesterday night and the RED LED started to flash. The battery was still at 75% and I'd never touched any of the settings.

In the end, as I always do each night I placed it on charge and by the morning it had stopped.

You charge your K700i all night long !?

No wonder the red LED flashes for no reason !

Maybe the batt indicator didnt showed the actual stand right. On my t68 the batt indicator is empty, standby and talktime are 0, however i can browse the net ca 1 hour long or if not, it runs min a half day yet. This message was posted from a T68i

I agree with @etaab ! Overnight charging is quite excessive to the ALLOTED of 2.5 hours - MAXIMUM charging hours ! Even if you charge the fone in full-drain status !
