Free? Not that I know of... Anyway Clicker is only $20 and well worth it...

You can download a demo version thats limited to 30 clicks to try it out.

There is a free program called Romeo but that's not for P800/900 series.

It works it works it WORKS!!!!!

Mac OSX 10.2.8, iSync 1.4 and an el-cheapo blutooth adapter and my good ole P800.

Everything syncs. Address book, iCal.... and I can send files to and from the iBook too!!!

This is bloody marvellous!!!!

Well, that's good to hear I guess. I do know that iSync 1.5 is supposed to be much more stable than 1.4. I am not sure if a P900 or the newer phones would work. Infact I am quite sure that they would not being that 10.2.8 nor iSync 1.4 support the newer phones. I have an s700 and iSync 1.5 did not work with it until I edited some files to make it work. I guess the next release of iSync will make things better.

Actually the next IT purchase will be a 12" Powerbook G4. Bluetooth built in as well as Panther.

So it'll all be academic soon anyway.... it's just good to know that even ole Jaguar can support the P800 via an unbranded cheapo adapter.

Cheers lads and thanks for all the fish.

Ah nutz

No worries man.... am in no rush to rid myself of the iBook really...... it's just that when it DOES finally get replaced it'll be with the 12" PowerBook.

I been using Macs for a good while now and I'm still continually amazed at what my clunky old G3 500 Mhz iBook will do for me- case in point this whole iSync thing. I've had quite a few computers in my life- starting with a 16k Sinclair Spectrum (with chewing gum keyboard) then Oric 1, Osborne 1, Apple ][, IBM PC XT (with 10MB HDD- wow!!!), 386SX/16, Apple Mac Classic, 386DX/33, 486DX4/100, Pentium 200MMX, Celeron 500, iMac G3 500 and now iBook G3 500.

The iMac and iBook are the best computers I've ever owned bar none. 3 years old now and they still do everything I want them to do. Next to my P800 the best techno buys I've ever made.

But that 12" powerbook is one tasty bit of kit I have to say. I agree with you on the 17" though....... too darned big.

I agree with you dude. I made the switch from Windoze to the "Promise Land" and will not go back. People continue to amaze me by thinking that there is something that a Windoze computer can do that a Mac can't. Well, a Mac does not need to reboot as often, or get any viruses, or do things as slowly. Windoze machines do teach their owners to be patient.

How much are the 12" PB's over there? I still might have a deal for you if you are interested.

I hear you man....

12" PowerBooks start at about USD1600 out here for the Combo Drive 1.33GHz G4. Gunna get one just as soon as I can justify the cost of the upgrade or I find myself with that much cash surplus.

Hehehe...

I dunno which one amazes me more man.... that the iBook continues to do everything I ask it to do- and my requirements are by no means static- or that many people actually get any work done at all on Windows.

In other news I am getting some information on de-Chinesing my P800. Will share as soon as I've tried it out.

Cheers
