@boba

Well that's the interesting part; who does everyone think would make a good 'third partner' for SE? Siemens perhaps or maybe LG?

@scotty honestly, sometimes i do wish /// would stoppf making fones with their last model, t68m. For me and as i see some others here, we do miss in and out features in se. But i have patince and hope for new models for my taste. But another brand wedding isnt for me. This message was posted from a T68i

Ericsson's designs just weren't popular enough, the only Ericsson mobile I have ever really liked was the T68. I think Ericsosn made the right move in partnering with Sony, it injected some much needed innovation and design change.

Well, that innovation isnt for my taste, yet. Just an example: u say to like t68. Then se released t3x0 series. Isnt that a way too far design next to the t68? This message was posted from a T68i

One doesn't have to like everything that SE produces, I was never a huge fan of the T3xx series. However, I do like SE's designs better than Ericsson's. I thought Ericsson produced rather boring looking mobiles, they might have had a lot of features, but I just didn't like the look of them. With SE I can now buy mobiles that are not only packed with features, but, which have a look that, on the whole, I like.

@scotty a respecteable point of view. On some way we both want the same but on different ways, so we focus on a brand, where i search the past and u the future. This message was posted from a T68i

I suppose that is one way of looking at it. There is nothing wrong with appreciating past glories, but I think that it is a waste of time to think that you are ever going to have Ericsson mobiles again. Ericsson are not producing mobiles anymore, nor are Sony, what we have is a fusion between two companies, like it or nott hat is the way things are now.

@scotty so it is, but i wouldnt say its time wasting, cos /// fones are still in use and its a question of usage @jn i wouldnt like if se would merge with esato. Independence is the real power of esato imo. This message was posted from a T68i
