Once again, how many times a month do you use your phone as a torch or flashlight, or some kind of device to aid you in the dark? I mean, this topic has descended into the absurd. Do you really think that it will make a major difference to the longevity of your battery life by using your light a few times a day, week, or month. Come on. Get real. This thread needs to be closed.

Think the lock of any threads is up to the mods. Indeed, to use it as a torch isnt a usually or generally must, but aslong we can discuss and share opinions in any questions, we fulfill the mission of esato.

Agreed. To discuss something is to search for an outcome. Other than wasting bandwidth talking about something that has little to zero effect on the functionality or longevity of battery life is an exercise in upping your post count. Nothing has been proven here other than yes, the light on a k or s 700 can be used as a light and the world will go on. Batteries will still be recharged, calls will still be made, phones will still survive. Nothing was accomplished here.
