No, obviously there is a message icon when u unlock the phone but the K700 etc show the icon along side the clock screensaver & hence u don't need to unlock the phone to see if u have a message, missed call etc.
The P9x0 don't do this, they simply show just the clock & u need to activate the screen to see if u have a message.
Hope that makes sense

These two 'backlight' apps are not worth a cent of my money. I might consider using them if they were freeware, not even shareware.

i REALLY hate it when im downloading a large file over the net and every 30 secs the light goes out. i know all i have to do is move the jogdial, but im lazy. personally i think it should be written in the fw that if the phones busy downloading or something else than the backlight should stay on.

yea i know your app does a couple of extra things but sclock shows the time and date missed call and text icons and thats FREE!!
