as I said, since either new firmwares have been released VERY recently ...

That is my point though, it seems strange that two new firmware versions should be released so close together; within the space of a month or so.

@Vlamm

No I was too busy apologising.

Seriously though, it does seem unlikely, but then this information is supposedly from an employ of Vodafone. It will be interesting to find out.

R1F fix the bugs found in vodafone Live.. some complaint they cant dwnload music, games etc etc.. so R1F solves that.. everything else stays the same, with the other bugs SE/Voda needs to solve.

from voda-jon.... however voda-jon was referring to firmware version R1D, which has different versions within itself apparently, if you scroll down to ( ) I forgot where exactly there is a string of data ending in r1e (no caps!) or r1f which might or might not cause problems in downloading vodafone live! content.

The upgrade offered (upper case R1D with lower case r1f) is merely a revised R1D firmware rather than an actual new firmware R1E or R1F

I am beginning to suspect people are confusing the two....

@O2

That has helped immensely! I see that we are talking about different things here, the firmware Vlamm and I have been referring to in this thread is not the same thing as is being discussed in the thread you linked to.

@Vlamm

You beat me to it!
