Not yet ready for the Symbian UIQ platform

Still not proper handwriting recognition (you can't use joined up/cursive writing - gotta write one letter at a time). Although, to be fair, I doubt that the cpu in a Pxxx series phone could handle the processing power needed to allow for proper handwriting recognition unless the programmers could write very efficient code - and most software nowadays is not written efficiently.

They say that a version for the Symbian UIQ platform is in the pipeline

The Decuma handwriting technology looks far better than the stuff that comes shipped with the phone.

As at 14 Dec 2004 there was an announcement that the makers have been taken over/bought by ZiCorp.

ZiCorp happen to be the makers of eZiTAP FEP, the software I have been talking about earlier. So that is an excellent sign because they have done an excellent job with eZiTAP FEP.
