Oh i see.. again, sorry for not reading properly
However i am sure that they (store) will accept to have it exchanged for a pure router if you talk nice to them..

Ok guys after last weeks cock-up, i've finally, hopefully found what I need, I basically just need to know what the difference between the routers are:
http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.[....]38&CategoryID=65&ProductID=539
and
http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.[....]8&CategoryID=123&ProductID=715
I have wifi B laptops, so does the increasespeed make any difference to me?

well, they both say cable is a requirement so it does sound like what you want. if you have 802.11b on your laptop it will make no difference in speed for you if the router is 802.11g but its still worth buy 802.11g in case you upgrade your laptop or pc's in the future

No. That "boost" thingy will only work if all Network cards support that "boost" thingy too.
Plus, you're buying a WiFi g router when you have WiFi b cards.
It won't hurt you (thinking in future upgrades) but for now you won't connect at 54Mbps, only 11Mbps.
[EDIT]
Because of you, i lost that last Playtime!.

Either will work. You'll see no advantage from the faster one though without the right WiFi cards in the computer (s)...

I'm starting to think that someone has it in for me, finally got the correct router today, went to sent it up and apparently my ethernet adapter isn't working?
it needs new drivers, so i did a search on the web for them, got them and tried to install the new drivers to the device, the computers having none of it, it won't let me use the ethernet adapter?
any idea's guys?
