im confused, id say i like the build quality of samsung phones mixed with the excellent usability of SE, a nice siemens keypad and a qvga screen from sharp.....hmm. now if only i could interchange software and components to make my perfect phone.....

Although the k700 being 'common' was one of the reasons i chose to go for the k500, i wouldnt say it is outdated even almost a yr after it was released. Its a great phone for people who can afford a lil more than the k500.

Why do feature-packed phones suffer more from the 'common'-problem than lower-end phones?

I wonder why all people complain about "can't expandable memory" of K700i, cmon guys, K700i is not a smartphone or a hightech phone, u can see that the K700i was so small, and the desain so cute, any smartphone or expandable memory phone can have the good design and form like K700i ?? And do not forget K700i was created for the peoples who want a tiny, cute and simple phone without losing it grip of technology and multimedia. That's why i feel so good and enjoy this phone.
I used to have P800, but i much like my K700i, why??? coz my phones ig memory just used for a less usable thing like watching movie on phone, hear hundreds of mp3/ogg file (i just hear about 15 songs), or for an un-important application on phone. K700i is much more to do all the thing that really usable for me.
Just a little opinion about K700i memory, i think K700i doesn't need expandable memory slot, it just need higher internal memory, 64mb enough !!

I love SE and there's going to be always that i will buy a SE phone but you guys have to agree with this that normal phones when they are launched they hit the market at a expensive price compared to windows mobile phones or smartphones

Thats coz the bridge between normal and smartphones is closing down. Earlier smartphones had multimedia features that people wouldnt even expect in a normal phone but phones like k700,s700 are more than capable of audio/video playback and imagin which is wat most consumers need. The k700 is a much better phone than 6600 for someone not lookin for symbian and so is rightly priced in the same range. S700 on the other hand is bit overpriced imo. K500 btw is the best value for money phone i've ever seen.

@K700nut
Mate, if you've got the money to splash out on S700's, P910's etc, then why are you worrying bout the K700???
The K700 in its own rite is a decent phone, and for the price, I don't think theres another phone on the market that offers the same kind of features.....
