The importance of a site like this is overestimated by many here. We represent a tiny fraction of their customer base. We have influence on some people around us, which still are no more than a fraction.

They might have a lot of fun teasing us with shadowy pictures.

If I were boss of SE, I would not allow my staff to hang around Esato too long and I would dedicate the task of having a peek every day to one person, so as to avoid too much leakage.

I think the Clara-leak was set up. there were a few sources and the flow of pictures was steady. Don' forget that their previous products weren't leaked at all, like the K300, T290, J200, V800. They finally have their curtains closed, they won't go open again.

I think that they might even co-operte wirth some sites to leak in exchange for coverage or to distract attention.

The K300 has not been announced, and therefore is a leak!

last year, an advertisement showed the K700i and S700i, and that was a major leak. We were asked by to remove it (laffen was) and it was.

This is the number one sony ericsson community on the web, i think we are pretty important...

To be truthful, very few of us really know exactlly how this works.

It wouldn't be out of the question to think SE does release snippets of information and the odd photograph as it feeds the anticipation. It does go on.

Or may be they are accidental leaks were an excited SE employee just can't wait to show his friend.

But just because the pictures leak out doesn't mean it is a bad thing and they will be removed. The ones of Clara haven't after all. (I have them saved on my phone just in case they are).

But why hasn't SE replaced the CeBit pictures with something else? They didn't have to show shadowy pictures of handsets to advertise their presence at Cebit did they?

They wanted to entice us, and realised people were photoshopping (or in my case firework-sing !) them!
