@thecell, dude,good news. I definitely have to upgrade now. The only really bad thing about the K700 is the early firmware. It gives the phone a bad name. I experience most symptoms myself, ie: unresponsive joystick, short batt life, one second pause after call connection (they can't hear you for a second), memory problems etc.
Gotta get that upgrade! :-]

If you buy the phone today it should come with this firmware, if it doesnt you can get it flashed for free at the nearest SE servicecenter.
One thing to note is beware if you buy it on contract with some operator, you might experience operator branding which have their own bugs, limitations in phonefunctionality and even limitations in firmwareupdate posibility.
