Did you think of the obvious fact that for any cam to take good pictures, you not only need a good sensor, but also a good optics in front of it?
And that's where all phone cams are in trouble.

I think as SE enthusiast, we're always looking for the next best SE model. My debate is wether to get the S710a now or wait for the K750. I'm in the U.S. and need a new phone as I have had my T616 two years now. It may be 6 months before the K750 makes it here.
Hmmmmmm the S710a is looking very tempting right now.

One question though: can the optics be folded back in the phone, or do you have that big thing kind of prodtruding from your ear during a call? And there is another model with an even bigger optics system looking like an inverted cone. That must be funny: put one on each ear and you really look like an alien.

I too would love to have at least 2x optical zoom but I think they should develop first a zoom lens with a light and small telescopic mechanism that will fit in a K750 profile without protruding too much and making it look stupid.
I think we should also consider the memory usage of pics if we start to consider the higher megapixel cams. I think a good quality JPG file for 5MP would be around 1.5MB and considering that the K750 is also an mp3 player, I think the 2GB would be easily consumed. What would you use a 5MP camphone for anyway?

When I start to consider a Sharp cam-phone I start to look at their success with their digital cameras, then I tend to look away regardless of the hi-resolution cams they put in. But that's just me.

If you were to examine K750 and S700i pictures closely, you can see the difference. I even made such an example in the K750 thread, which can be found in the first post i made on page 42 which can be found here:

If you look closely, you can see the pictures taken with the S700i are more pixelated, ragged and not as crisp. The K750 images look more real - not only because the K750 can capture images in larger resolutions but because it has a superior sensor. People can moan about the differences between CCD and CMOS all day long, but really they're both quite as capable as each other.
Yazan24, the next time you want to tell someone to "STFU" and call them a dumbass, do it to someones face, preferably someone who'll be able to retaliate towards you. Maybe when you get beat up for being so arrogant towards people you might come back to Esato and treat people with more respect.

Unlike the K750 on the top left, notice the metal grill is fussy and out of focus. Depends on your taste of photagraphy.
Some folks rather have everything in focus and sacrifice a bit on the the main object, while others prefer the main object to be extra sharp and have the background faded, to achieve a bit of more resolution on the main object.
Another possibility to this comparison is: the S700 may have not been steady at the point of shooting the picture. No excuses for the S700, however that is a good possibility. A little shake can take away from the overall crispness of the picture.
Any thoughts?
