Pretty much like what happens non-members.

They stop existing.

That's all.

PS

If you would like people in Esato to remember you, or at least know what happened in case you just stop posting, cultivate your relationships offline (and outside esato)

if an esato member dies, they will be re-incarnated (sp) and will be back on esato under another user name

How about this for a possible solution to the problem?

Create a text file saying something like:

'If you are reading this, then we can safely assume that I have kicked the bucket and that you have in some way inherited my computer. Please be kind enough to visit www.esato.com, join up and then leave a message on the message boards informing everybody of my unfortunate demise.'

'Failure to do so may result in me haunting you 24/7 for the rest of your miserable existance, you sniveling little freeloader, how did you get your grubby mitts on my PC anyway? And stop overclocking my bloody graphics card...'

You can then put the text file in your start-up directory so that it appears on the screen everytime you boot the PC. Simple! Mac users should make the appropriate adjustments to achieve the same effect.

Not sure what WAP users could do though? Maybe create a wallpaper for your phone with a similar message on it?

Or maybe not. Anyway, I'd better take my tablets now or they'll lock me up in that hospital again...

What if one of us dropped dead while posting here?

Have you seen "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (you know the Monty Python movie with king Arthur and his knights).

Remember the scene when they are pursued by the monster Aaaargh? Luckily they escape because the person making/animating the cartoon figure suddenly dies. The film actually shows us how the cartoonist suddenly dies at his desk. This is how I imagine an esatoean dying by his/her computer desk while posting here!
