Hey ppl. I'm new to this so be gentle

In response to your question re SE K750, I have one on o2 and yes annoyingly mine keeps freezing too. Apparantly if you press the return key and/or * it should revert back to standby....this is bollocks!

To add injury to insult...my mate has just bought one, with exactly the same problem.

A spokesman for preston o2 store says, "Theres nothing we can do about that, but you could send it away to be repaired and will probably get back to you in about 28 days" Are they having a laugh!

If anyone hears of anyway this can be sorted pls email me; procterdc@yahoo.com

I have an o2 handset, only had 1 crash, that was while it was plugged into the data cable and it just rebooted, not had any other bugs at all, including the shortcuts disappearing when the phone is rebooted.

No problems so far and I'm on O2, but I bought the phone Sim-free so it's not actually an O2 branded phone it's just the Sony Ericsson handset with an O2 sim-card, if you get what I mean.

I got my K750i phone last Thursday. It is unlocked, but has the O2 WAP logo and O2 Theme on it (unfortunatley bought it on Ebay, so I dont have much come back). I use Vodaone Ireland for my network.

The phone has hung 3 times so far on me. Was not even using the phone at thoses times.

This phone is not released in Ireland yet and as I didnt get it from a dealer - is there any way you can get the firmware revision updated without sending it back to where you bought it. Like Apple do it for the IPODS? DIY?

Also, is there any way to get rid of the O2 Icon from the menu?

MIck

actually, I think the reason for freezing up is due to FIRMWARE!

I have a K700i before with old firmware R2A which freeze all the time until I flash it to R2AE (and now R2AT)

so I guess the main reason of crashing is more to do with the firmwre bugs instead of branding

so if your phone freezes all the time, pls check if u have old firmware like R1A or ?? becuase the latest firmware we got here is R1L already... (26 Jun 2005)
