it's very bad to hear, that the back cover is crappy...
i thought that it would be better than the t610's cover...
i'm still using my t610, dropped it over 100 times- and still nothing

perhaps my standards are lower or perhaps I don't have high expectations but I find the K750 build quality better than that of the K700 and am perfectly happy with it. The phone feels solid in my hand and after 2 weeks solid use there is no creaking as there was with the K700
comparing the quality to my other phones from other manufacturers I think it compares quite well and this is not one issue I will be complaining about

Forgot to say, someone earlier mentioned that they didn't think the K750i camera was any better than a 0.3mp Motorola cam.
I think you misread the post mate- on the phone's screen the pics on the k750 and moto don't look that much different- probably cos motos screens are better so it probably makes it look better than it actually is. There is a big difference when you see the camera pics on the computer though

I am quite happy with the texting on this phone though- its fairly quick and cuts down on the number of steps needed to send it.
Phonebook is really fast as well- massive improvement over previous SEs. Im not sure about the phone compared to k700 though (as its buttons were too small for my sausage fingers)- but its response to everything is snappy- no lagging.
I like the joystick as well- the best once since T68i.
I reckon im liking it the more i use it

Why won't they make the back cover as rigid and sturdy as t 610's quality? That was a sturdy manufacture. My p 910's back cover squeeks quite s bit after 6 months but i dont find it problematic.I'll try a k 750 next week to c what is this fuss about.

Theres nothing wrong with the backcover.
Its the slideable lenscover that can creak very litle when you apply pressure to it.
The T610 doesnt have a slideable lenscover, so thats not really comparable.

Feel free to discount my words, you'll find out why at the end...
I think the phone is great. The camera quality fantastic, menu system is cool, battery life is exceptional.. creeking? What creeking? I spent a while prodding the back and yea there is a bit of flex, but thats a good thing imo - it would break easier if there was no flex.
Ive only experienced one small bug with the software - good old shortcut reset after turning the phone off. Apart from that no crashes, or slow down or strange lines that ive noticed.
Imo most of the things people have pointed out are really minor. And i read a lot of the software stuff can be upgraded somehow. You guys are looking for real perfection, i admire it, but you'll never get it
Having said all that I did upgrade from a nokia 3210, and that didnt bounce off the floor, just broke into all its parts ready to be put back together.

I don't see what all the fuss is about, my K750 feels as sturdy and well made as any phone I've used - if you push the lens cover inwards there is a slight creaking noise, but why would you want to push it inwards anyway? I only did it to try and see if I could get mine to make a creaking noise to see what people were moaning about...
