Hey Muppet! Have u actually seen this? Or tried it out yourself?

No, only because I don't have a K750 (I still don't understand all the hype about them myself) nor do I have any customer ones to test with. I have Cruiser and I have the flash files on my PC.

I think others in this thread have made it pretty obvious I wasn't talking out my rear end though, don't you?

As for those people talking about it being illegal.... WHAT? I can flash WindowsXP Service Pack 2 to my phone if I have the equipment to do it. Sure, the phone won't power on at all, but it's not illegal to do so.

I think it's interesting that SE make the same hardware, put it in a different case with different firmware and call it a different phone. Hacks that make one phone into another are in my opinion fun and interesting. Those that are saying "Noo, don't do this, it's bad" just come across to me as sounding jealous (though I can't understand for the life of me why)

@gbrooks3: I knew you'd bet me to it buddy

Muppet; Where do the firmwares come from?
Are they official, public firmwares out for everywhere to download, or perhaps illegaly copied?
Laws are of course different for different countrys, but I think a lot has software laws which state it's illegal to handle stolen software, and also illegal to bypass security schemes, like the CID's.
Also to edit copyrighted software is illegal in many countries.

I don't try to stop people from doing it, but You shouldn't think it's harmful and as legal as it may seem.

No, I don't say what to do or don't, or what people in my surrounding does. All I'm saying is that You shouldn't believe that it's legal when it's not, as some people say and may turn others to believe the same.
It's like warez of ordinary PC software.
