I cannot get beyond the window 'Initialising device... Please wait'. The SEUS logfile mcontains the following: -

The update to R1N035 worked last week except for the W800 problem?

Any advice?

FINALLY!!!!! AFTER more than 19 times trying....hours of trying...davinci codes and stuffs...SEUS can update my phone correctly (Oct 3, 2005 8:32 INDONESIA TIME).

Let me tell you a bit history of my phone:
1. Tried to update two weeks ago(HL1_125953-APAC1-MR2_000000_0000_R1N035 and HL1_125954-CHINA-MR2_000000_0000_R1N035)....SEUS fails to continue. It stops at 38% and suddenly goes to 42% and there..."ERROR IN COMMUNICATION WITH DEVICE"
2. Tried a couple of days later..SEUS downloads HL1_125953-APAC1-MR2_000000_0003_R1N035 to my computer....still...it stops at 39% and continue and 41%.....again.."ERROR IN COMMUNICATION WITH DEVICE"
3. After reading a lot of posts.....a lot of resets...a lot of trying...
Oct 3, 2005 I tried again....SEUS downloads HL1_125953-APAC1-MR2-B_000000_0000_R1N035 dated Oct 3, 2005.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the first time I tried to update today (Oct 3, 2005) the SEUS hangs when it tries to initialize my phone. I removed the MS DUO and MASTER RESET the phone. The trick does it! I can go smoothly through the update.

SEUS goes up to 38% and hangs there...BUT...this times it goes to 41% and continue to 42% with zero problem...it goes to 45% smoothly....after that...no more 46%. It goes straight to 100%. I was afraid that the device is still not updated yet. But, I was wrong...it does work flawlesly....

So, congratulation to SE! They finally fixed their mess (well...after leaving me for more than one week).

Happy trying for everybody else. Post here if you still cannot update your K750.

can anyone tell me if this is a NEW version of R1N? and does it sort out the file corruption problems that many users had when r1n was first released???

then the screen goes of to the web page and says

Your device is not permitted to use this service
