having previously had a w900i phone i remember that when i sent txt messages on it i would write out the message and it would give me a list of the last 7-8 contacts that i had sent messages to previously. a great function but it also had the ability to delete contacts from the list in order to be able to keep the list to purely contacts that you use on a regular basis.
having just bought a w950i i sent a couple of messages on it and found the same function was applicable and a small list of previous contacts appears when creating a message. However, when you try to delete these contacts from this list to be able to create only regular contacts there is no such option and i have tried every single which way in order to either edit these lists or turn them off completely without sucess. has anyone else got any info if you can edit these contacts or delete them at all?

what would you use to clean the screen before applying the screen protector? Getting into the corners is hard...
I have a lens cleaning cloth and can get the main part looking perfect!

Hi... I noticed that the W950 doedn't let me access the menu even in FLIGHT MODE if the SIM card is NOT present. Screen shows "Insert SIM".
Ideally, as a smartphone it should boot up even without a sim.
Have you noticed this or anything different ?

no the equalizer cannot be changed manually which is bit of a let down because it means my k750i is louder then the 'walkman' w950i. a bit of a let down in that department i must say

I've just bought one of these on Orange....how do I get the Sony Ericsson firmware on there with all their menus?? I hate the Orange ones!!

Unfortunatly there isnt a new formware yet so were stuck with it for the time being. BTW dont master reset or else you will loose all themes appart from the orange one

i have just received my w950, second user unit, everything is fine apart from the fact that the phone has obviously been master reset and ive lost all the other themes, is there any way of downloading the other themes to my pc from anywhere
