I just called Ericserve and they confirmed that the R1L for Chinese T610 is here!
one question. My warranty card is still unstamped lah. Should I stamp it before I send in for the upgrade?

If your warranty card is still unfilled (if that's what you meant). They will not fill in your name, but will ask you for your purchase date and fill it for you. That's my experience.

what I meant was the date. U know nowadays some shops don't fill in the date for their customers' advantage. Think I'll fill in myself before sending. I just asked them and they said my existing data will still remain in the phone. Is that true? I thot all the phone's data will be wiped out and it'll be as if it's a new phone?

Your data should remain intact, but you should backup your phone just to be on the safe side.

Just curious, how many of you here use the Ericsson backup software which works with Outlook? I don't really like using it 'coz I don't use Outlook at home. Are there any other options besides that?

Just got my software upgraded to R1L (chinese input). Besides the camera shortcuts and the screensaver clock font, anyone here able to notice other differences?
Also, my battery level was almost empty after the upgrade. Before I sent in, it was half. Was a bit worried if they accidentally swapped my battery or not... Did any of you faced this battery phenomenon?

better write your battery serial number on a piece of paper next time you get a software upgrade so your battery won't get accidentally swapped.
