The wounder of marketing..
First "S-Lcd" and now "HD"
Nowadays you can pretty much sell anything if you just add HD..

Slightly off topic, but SE have redesigned the phones and accessories section of their website. Doesn't look like it's fully populated with info yet but it's faster to use and isn't flash led like before.

Sony Ericsson dev team starts work on Gingerbread
Simon Walker, the Head of the Developer Program for Sony Ericsson, recently tweeted the following: “Android Gingerbread come out last week finally! Too much delay Google. Busy weeks to come for me and the team, but all worth it big time!” It’s difficult to know whether we’re reading too much into it, but it confirms recent noises coming out of SE HQ that they want to start being at the cutting edge of firmware revisions. Let’s hope that Sony Ericsson has indeed turned the corner.

Thats a bit strange or maybe it means something else, you'll see Honeycomb at MWC though not necessarily in a phone but a tablet perhaps. You've already seen a Moto tablet running Honeycomb last week, its a lot more demanding to run which is why Gingerbread is out now for phones. Maybe you'll need more powerful hardware for Honeycomb but we'll see. The LG Star won't be the only dual core device there as well, I'm confident that a few dual core devices will be on sale by the end of Q1.
