Thanks for the tip. I don't know what happened, but I just hit shift a couple fo times and then caps lock a few times and now it seems to work fine!

In fact I can't get the multi-prompt back again. Very strange indeed. Anyway it works so cheers!

The upgrade can only be done using SE Fighter cable, dongle & software & a special firmware image.

I dunno how many have done it, but I certainly have - and at the moment I'm keeping it that way.

It gives you the 910 firmware, so you get Word and Excel editors built in (Quickoffice), PDF+, a better browser, HTML mail, and support for MS Duo Pro (I believe, I still don't have a big card).

The biggest downside is that Bluetooth doesn't work. I've also noticed a few slowdowns from time to time but nothing serious.

Is it worthwhile? Well I don't use Bluetooth, and I now have more memory available after de-installing Opera & Quickoffice, plus I have HTML mail & Duo support. All for £180, which is what SE fighter cost me - as opposed to £450 or more for a P910.

Your mileage may vary...

According to anlog, there is a Fighter programmer working on the Bluetooth issues. It hasn't gone dead, but if these problems are not ironed out most people won't be updating their phones.

I require Bluetooth, so this applies to me. I would LOVE to upgrade the software, but if it will break BT I refuse to do it. I ahte the Jabra headsets, and it seems these are the only BT headsets compatible with the prototype P910 firmware.

I am looking into a Bluetrek G2, which I hear has great battery life. I will be selling a HBH-65 to get it if anyone is interested.
