According to a news item in Business World, Globe plans to offer 3G services next year. According to the article, their peso rates are as follows:
40 / minute for calls on 3G network
5 / kilobyte for internet access
10 / kilobyte for streaming content
20 / kilobyte for network games
40 / minute for video sharing
100 / download of "large files like games and videos"
I'm sure, ang bilis ng network nila. Wala kasing taong gagamit e.
On a related note, in the same paper, Quezon representative Danila Suarez is planning to file a resolution to nullify the 3G licenses granted by NTC claiming that it should have been acquired through public bidding and not through a quas-judicial process.
The Public Telecommunications Act/RA 7925 requires NTC to bid out frequencies in cases where demand for them exceed availability.

mind conditioning ang tawag dyan,....... i-mi-media hype nila yang 3G...... para makondisyon ung isipan ng tao.... na ang galeng galeng talaga nyan...... tapos magkakaroon ng lots of inquiries...... pag-uusapan.. so pag gigil na gigil na tsaka nila bibitin bitinin para tumakam takam saka nila biglang ibibigay sa madlang people, ...... viola! wagi ang marketing strategy o deva !
