just got my new iphone, its the 4GIG version though, they are giving employee's to use, to help customers etc and for my own personal use. Can use it as long as i stay with the company. But its sweeeeeett.
I love the safari browser, ipod function, your tube function, the photo's look superb, compared to my mates lg viewty, the photo's on the screen look much better than on the LG screen, even though LG has a better camera, we did a comparison. I love the coverflow function etc too. So far am happy with it. I will only be using it for mainly internet and ipod function though.
its not a demo version, its a full version am able to use all the functions on it.
@ missuk been working with them for over a year now.
and i will check out that app later. thanks

Ok people I need your help. Im going to buy an iphone unlocked on ebay from within the UK. Some apparantley even come with 1.1.1 firmware, anyway I have 2 questions.
Do I still need to activate it somehow or do I just stick my sim card in it as its unlocked?
If I want to transfer music/video/pics to it will itunes recognise it right of?
Thanks

If you're buying it unlocked, 99% of the time it will be activatedand you simply have to put your sim card in it, and yes iTunes will just see it and it'll work straight away.

The process for buying an iPhone is exactly the same in every country it is sold. When you go to the store, all you are doing is buying the iPhone hardware, you do not sign up for a contract in store full stop. The phone is however pretty useless, to gain access to the music player, you tube and all the other stuff the phone must be activated, whether by hacking it or the legal way of going through iTunes and signing up for a contract.
