I downloaded 3 settings from Digi site (Digi wap, Digi GPRS and Digi MMS) and I called Digi and activated the GPRS already but still can't connect and surf, need help
And I wonder why the phone status always shows the GPRS unregistered even I changed the preferred service to GPRS and GSM

Have you got a sms saying your GPRS is activated? I waited almost one day for it to be activated, while my friend's only 5 mins.
As for the setting, do tell me more regarding the error message. I might able to help you as I have troubleshoot the GPRS/MMS connection problem for whole day yesterday. It works eventually

Dear all, me newbie here (although I have been following some threads for some times now) and newbie at using T610... a quick question to you out there, I kept reading this 'Chinese' and 'English' version on the T610 O/S, what is that? what precisely is the differences?
Thanks a lot.

T610@Casey,
Basically the T610 English version, you are only able to read Chinese but unable to write Chinese in SMS. This T610 is usually in Aluminium Haze colour. Whereas T610 Chinese version, you can read and write Chinese and it comes with all the three colours... plus a little expensive (+RM30 difference).
Anyway, you can flash your T610 English version to Chinese version for RM25 in Ericserve.

Thanks. Mine is already English & Chinese enable, going by your description. I am wondering if there is different O/S versions for complex and simplied Chinese character sets... (i.e. you use pinyin for simplified and strokes methods for complex character input).. and if I could upgrade or 'flashed' it to the right version... any idea? Thanks!

@SE-Fans Yes I received the GPRS activated SMS within 5 mins but when I try to surf the wap page it shows connecting status and after awhile it come back to previous page and stop

and when I try to send MMS it prompt out communication error after awhile of connecting status >_
edited: Finally my GPRS works now, I restart my phone and the blue triangle on the left top shows full, before it is empty, never try restart since received the GPRS activated SMS, so now I can surf wap but still cannot MMS, it prompt that communication error, so I have to call Digi again to activate MMS?
