@umarhayat

First of all my apologies for the delayed response. Unfortunately I really don't think I am the best person to answer your query. This is so because my postpaid (Indigo) connection is very old (over 4 years) and recently I just got my GPRS activated. However you can get some idea by looking at their website. Maybe somebody who has recently acquired a fresh Indigo connection can throw light on this matter better.

Regarding gprs fixed charges what I can say is that although they say it is Rs 500 per month but in reality you actually end up paying Rs 633 per month. This is so because the base Rs 500 is subject to a 15% "Sales Tax" and a 10% as "Advance Tax". So the calculation goes like this:

Base Price = Rs 500

Sales Tax = 15% = 500 x 0.15 = 75

Subtotal = 500 + 75 = 575

Advance Tax = 10% of 575 = 575 x 0.10 = 57.5

Therefore total = 500 + 75 + 57.5 = 632.5 or 633

Kind Regards

Yes Bilal I totally agree with you. Mobilink has made some real improvement and even in my area in Lahore they have goog signals and connection is most of the time for the 1st attempt.

I also appreciate the Rs 10/- per SMS @ 180 donation to help our brothers and sisters who have fallen victims of the recent unfortunate quake.

One thing I must though say that recently it took Mobilink over a month to get GPRS connectivity corrected in the area in Lahore where I live. Whereas GPRS was working well in all parts of Lahore except in the area where I live. I think taking over a month to get it going again does not reflect very nicely on them.

Regards

AoA radarblip, i m living in Cantt. area. i m a student of BCS (HONS) final semester. it very pleasent to welcome u. in my openion, telenor is much better than warid. the most excellent feature is easyload. warid announced the 64 k sim, but it is for postpaid customers, available for prepaid customers too, but they will have to subscribe it. it is very confused process.
